The Select Group has an incredible opportunity to work with one of the top companies in RTP, NC. We are in search of a Solutions Architect for a top client in RTP, NC. We are seeking a skilled Application Architect to play a hands-on role and work with our application development teams.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Work with application development teams to define, design and implement the solution architecture, with the responsibility of cross project technology and architecture vision.
- Work with project teams, vendors, support organizations, other architects, systems specialists and other technical resources.
- Guide development and implementation of Presentation tier using java and .net technologies
- Guide development of Web Services using Java/spring frameworks
- Perform design review and code review for the assigned applications
- Be responsible for technical presentations demonstrating a good understanding of application, data, infrastructure, architecture expertise and application systems design.
- Establish methodologies for software development life cycle.
- Provide guidance and lead resolution of technical issues as they arise.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- 5 yrs. experience as an architect
- Have to be more front end, client side orientated
- Java/J2EE experience more heavily weighted then .Net
- Must be jack of all trades, leader, developer, etc.
- The ideal candidate will have solid client side development experience for rich internet applications with focus on performance and frameworks such as jQuery and ExtJS.
